58 Students with Special Needs Participate in UN SMP

Getting a good education is the right of all children in Indonesia, either of the families whose economies are high or low, with normal physical state or students with special needs (SBK).

South Jakarta Primary Education Department (Dikdas) noted, from 31,855 junior high school students who participated in UN, there are 55 disable students and 3 inclusion students. A total of 55 disable students came from 20 schools for disable (SLB) while the 3 inclusion students are from SMP 2 South Jakarta.

"Exceptional students are mentally disabled or autistic. Whilst the inclusion in the SMP 226 and 240 deaf and blind people so the script will be Braille," explained Murhanudin, Head Section of South Jakarta Primary Education for SMP, Saturday (5/3).

UN Scripts Tightly Guarded by Police to Prevent Leaks

Meanwhile for examination scripts that were originally located at SMP 19, it has been distributed into 5 sub-rayon in South Jakarta this morning. " The sub-rayon school are in SMP 161 Kebayoran Lama, SMP 19 Kebayoran Baru , SMP 41 Pasar Minggu, SMP 73 Tebet, and MTS 3 Pondok Pinang. The scripts will be distributed to the schools of implementing UN tomorrow,” Murhanudin stated.
